Let’s face it.  Contractors and builders don’t have the best reputations for delivering what they have promised.  To win the business they will often promise the world but won’t deliver according to expectations.  Perhaps they have stopped contacting you and updating you on your project.  Or they could be taking their time and are not advancing your project.  Another common issue is excessive delays without any explanation.  In the worst case scenarios they have taken your money and run!

Or perhaps you have architectural plans drawn up and approved for your project but you come to discover that energy efficient design was not considered.  Before getting started on construction you want to make any necessary changes without delaying your project.

The best time to make a change if you have experienced any of these issues is before you break ground.  We can quickly step in to evaluate your project and we can have our engineers redesign certain aspects of your project on-the-fly to better realize your goals.

One of the services we provide is a supervising engineer to oversee the inspections of your property.  This engineer is certified by the Costa Rican College of Architects and Engineers to make necessary changes to the building design.  This can usually be accomplished without having delay to project extensively.  You certainly don’t want to wait for additional government approvals for a simple design modification for energy efficiency or other types of similar changes.

If you are getting a bad feeling about your project in the pre-construction phase because of common contractor and designer issues, contact us for a second opinion.  The last thing you want to do is to “throw money” at a contractor hoping this will cure the situation.
